Then that's his problem. Not your fault he's nuts.

And yes, they are capable of murdering their own flesh and blood so don't take their threats lightly. I don't want to scare you but just be careful. Luckily my man wasn't quite so abusive, but in any case I slowly and quietly slipped under the radar. No contact.
