Your story is so much like mine. Really!! I did alot of research on this when he tried to guilt me over marriage is not a game. 18 days?? Really?? He never gave credit for the sacrifices and travel I did for this so called love. Was not a game to me. I too caught mine cheating AGAIN.

No way I am going to bring someone like that around my friends, family and country. He kept asking me if I was married. Finally he wrote to my facebook with one of his 50 something accounts and I just said...I think you have the wrong person....I don't know you. and to have a nice day. Then I left facebook. Best thing I could have done and started to appreciate the lesson and live a good life.

No marriage can be recognized unless it is filed in a state courthouse. I am glad that you did the same and did not let him come here. My attorney told me that it would not look good for him. I said I don't care...END it NOW. My attorney sent the letter I had written him about the fraud and it went to the embassy. My attorney was more than happy to do it. He was looking out for me and was ready for me to just say NO to this scammer.

It feels so good to be free. This month marks 5 years since I have laid eyes on this jerk. And yes I do forgive and leave him in the hands of the Almighty. I figure that is really the best way to help him. He would not have survived in US anyway....so being the adult here it was a good decision for the both of us.

Reality is that he would have, if even possible would have had a low skilled job here and probably would have sent what he made home to his family since I clearly saw they were more important than me. That is ok though. He can stay with the ones he is loyal to. Oh boy though....I just cannot imagine the hell I would be living through right now and the thought that he would start chain migration makes sick to my stomach. And in my state, he would have been entitled to half my property. What a nightmare that would have been.

Happy for you that you are a sensible woman. We all have moments of vulnerability and that is when bad choices and predators hit us. We will be smarter in the future. Take care.
