Don't get involved, Lorna, there is/was no future with this man... the great majority of Kurds marry one another and often to cousins...criminal activity is rife... yes I'm generalising! There are definitely many hard-working, successful Kurds in the UK (I work with one) but there are undeniably problems within the community.

Lorna ask yourself why you're reaching out to men in far flung countries, when there's plenty of eligible men in your own surroundings... no man is worth going to those lengths... and if a guy tries to emotionally blackmail then let him. Their own women wouldn't bend over backwards for them so why should we!
