Confused and need advice

Hi,

I noticed your post. I too am older than the man I met on Facebook. I plan to go to Algeria in two weeks and found this website and everyone is telling me "NO" do not go. I see all the red flags but cannot stop my strong will to see the truth about this man. I am independent, kind, and giving. He is already becoming possessive and changing right in front of me and I feel seduced by his eyes and ways.

I have a plan once I arrive in Algeria, but he seems to think otherwise. I am to meet his family and stay with them but everyone has scared me he will lock me in a room for two years until he receives his VISA/Green Card. What I do not understand is that I have to come back to the US to begin the immigration proceedings so why would he do that? I am only going for two weeks and he has threatened to kidnap me and financially it will kill me because I am not working and my job begins in October.

Just wondering how your situation turned out. I am so overwhelmed by everyone's comments and confused as to why I cannot see what is right in front of me..."a scam".
