Confused and need advice- Older U.S. woman met Pakistani man online

One month ago I innocently met a man on a Facebook page we both frequented. He asked if we could talk and I friended him and that's how we began. We've exchanged photos, chatted on Messenger every day for hours and within 2 weeks, he was bringing up marriage. He's 39 and I am 59 (but I look like I'm in my 30's). The age difference doesn't bother him or me. He's a professional and very mature.He's come to the US in the past on a student VISA for research for his job. He wants to live outside of Pakistan in the future and marriage to someone seems like his out. We've talked about finding a place to live, either in the states or another country and I have not focused too much on his marriage talk.

He seems very honest and straight forward. He answers my questions. He's told me where he works and where he lives. I have his phone number. He's told 2 of his friends he's gone to meals with about me and had them take photos for him.
He tells me what he's doing and with whom, so I have no doubt he is not hiding anything.
He's assured me that he is not talking to any other women and he is not a player. That our relationship is heart based and he says he has never met anyone like me.

He's told me about his family and shared a photo of him and his mother.
We have not had cyber sex, nor has he asked me any personal questions about my body or much about my sexual habits and likes. We have discussed sex oh so little.

I have two grown daughters and grandsons he knows about.
He's invited me to visit him in January or Feb 2018 and offered to pay the flight.

I guess my concerns are can this work? Why do I have doubt (although my gut says it's ok)? I have wondered that why a man of 39 has never been married (but my brother is 54 and never married).

I'll take any and all advice on this seriously.
