Response to Coming to Algeria

I can say in all honesty it was just a fluke that we met not either one's intention; however, with all that put aside it truly became a fantasy. Yes, I truly need a vacation from the stress of reality and look at this as if it is an adventure of a lifetime. Currntly, I am at a crossroads and I fear we both found one another as we were "lost" and unfulfilled in our lives. We have both stated that we cannot get one another out of our heads and it takes over my daily life and I just cannot "NOT" meet him and yet after reading this blog I fear I am just walking into a trap and that I am a fool to have allowed my emotions be controlled by such a human being.

It has been brought to my attention that Muslims have no emotion or conscious, they can marry four wives and that he can place me in a room for two years until he gets his green card or VISA while he continues his life as a he has and I will be unable to escape. I guess I cannot even imagine how anyone could do such a thing to someone who has been nothing but kind, giving and true to him and willing to do whatever is necessary to bring happiness and peace to both our lives. I guess my question is if I am willing to spend my time and money on passport, visa, flights, etc.....why would he want to hurt me so? I was never not willing to do whatever it took to create this fantasy a reality so what good would I be if he physically hurt me?

Perhaps, I am just in denial. I do value my life and myself. I just cannot even imagine how another person could hurt another person like that without consciously knowing what they have done. If I am willing to meet his family, spend time with his friends, what would he gain by controlling me when all he wants is his freedom to live a happy life? I need to take off my rose colored glasses I fear and realize this is just a fantasy and reality has just kicked in and I am overwhelmed.
