Reply to Going to Algeria from USA/NY

Hi Chelsa,

Thank you so very much for your comments. I had no idea I was responsible for him for 10 years! WOW! There are so many red flags, but right when I am about to give up he reels me back in 100%. I really care deeply for him, but since he knows I am coming he has become different. Yesterday, I found out he quit his job and he and his mother are "waiting" to meet me. I will be near the US Embassy at my hotel and airport all within 5 miles.

However, he wants me to meet his family which is 4 hours south and the largest closest airport is an hour from his home to the best of my knowledge and I will have no means of transportation other than bus which is ten minutes from his home since I asked him to show me on video chat.

I just want to meet him and know if this is real. I am putting my life in his hands and fear at worst I could be held captive for the two years or just left when I run out of money after reading everyone's posts.

Do you feel it is safe if I never leave my hotel and just meet him there? Is it possible he could plan a kidnaping at the airport as I have seen it done online before. I am only asking these questions because they are the worst case scenario.

But, what if everything is true and real, I will never forgive myself for not meeting him. Jackie :(
