Your decisions.

Dear Luhx,

I fully support you since it is your marriage,your job,your children and you alone should have the right to determine what you should do,although I would have definitely preferred that your children be exposed to both religions and cultures and after attaining adulthood given the right to adopt any religion and culture they like and find close to their heart.Since you and your husband both deliberated on what religious denomination they should follow,none of us can ask you any questions.

Your husband also appears decent,at least so far.I am happy that you have a job and an account to fall back upon in case of any unfortunate and unforeseen circumstance.

The family background that you mentioned,probably,nudged you to take all decisions that you have.Completely understandable.

We all feel that the children born to such couples should remain non-Muslim( follow the Mom's religion) and so don't take offence or feel disheartened at what most have felt.No one is at fault.
