Changing

You're very right about them wanting to change us, which is why I've always thought about the reasons for us being attracted to them. I think at the time a lot of us were looking to escape from something or another, and what better way to do that than to go for someone from a different background. You have to be unhappy within yourself to wanna be with someone that doesn't even accept you for you.

There is healthy compromise in a relationship, and there is completely erasing your identity. The man rarely changes... it's almost always the female.

Like you said these men (not the classy ones... just the ones we've known) couldn't care less about our hobbies or dreams... they're looking for an object that serves a purpose. As long as we have hands for giving and a womb for breeding nothing about us matters. This is the opposite of love!

Love requires empathy and respect, which, upon closer inspection these men severely lack.
