Pushing aside all the obvious setbacks, it's clear that you don't trust him - and rightfully so - so ask yourself is it worth it? Without trust and respect there is no love.

You're also a lot older than him and yes - age is indeed just a number - but unfortunately these cultures aren't exactly known for their open-minded attitudes. They think logically, meaning men want a young wife from a good background that can breed Muslim kids. Love simply doesn't enter the equation.

YES there are exceptions but it's a rocky road figuring out who's worth the bother.
