Age no bar.Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by BambooShoots, Jan 16, 2018 at 07:01 Dear Sabrina, I could be wrong but if I were him,I would have taken you to my parents instead of messaging and telling you about my intention of marrying you.It feels romantic being told that and it's exhilarating waiting for messages with expectation. I feel that instead of going back to him again you will be showing your desperation.Let him contact you or try contacting him ( messaging of course) and see his response. He might still be able to cheat you,if he has found somebody else(you mentioned a period of 2 months). Your age is only important to him from the point of view of having children. He shouldn't care about age if there is true love ( even if you can't or don't want to bear children). You have every right to be happy and get married at any age--whether or not you look younger. I don't wish to sound negative but it would be better to marry someone in the U.K. itself where you have a support system of friends and acquaintances AND through them you can be given impeccable credentials of the person you are going to marry. You can have them as witnesses and you will NOT be marrying without any documents( if you are lured into marrying this fellow in a mosque). Mind well that such people can always claim to have a very traditional/orthodox parents who wish to get you married in a mosque. The problem would be that there won't be any documents to prove your married status. Best luck lady and stay safe. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
