Older woman/Pakistani boyfriend

Before I comment on Melinda's unique experience, I read all of the comments and situations each woman or persons experienced good or bad. I appreciated the candor and the responses of everyone who offered advice. I did find myself chuckling at some of the comments. I respect the different perspective of opinions and I have found them quite helpful and informative.

I have dated American men only and that includes my ex-husband. After careful consideration, it seems men in general regardless of religion, age, culture, country, and so forth suffer from the same problematic issues. I know some things about Islam and many things about Christianity and it basically boils down to the character of the individual. To be quite honest, I believe all of us fall short in some fashion. Let's face it we all have flaws. With that being said I would never condone the mistreatment of any persons, especially women for obvious reasons. Now to address Melinda's situation, I believe this example should set the tone for relationships and love. Truly in the grand scheme of things nothing should really matter except for the two people who are involved. It is a matter of conscious and what you two decide in your relationship. Thank you for sharing your experience. It is possible to strip away all of what was instilled in us from birth and truly find peace and happiness.
