Yes it is possible. I was 55 when I met my husband, he was 29. I was a widow with four children, he had never really even had a girlfriend. He was visiting the us fro Pakistan a B1 visitors visa when we met. We became friends despite a 26 year age difference and the fact the fact I was a secular Jew and he was and is an observant Muslim We both knew quickly that we both wanted him to stay in America, it took us both a while longer to admit that OMG yes we were in love. We were both surprised to say the least. However none of our friends were they had figured it out long before we did. I guess it was so far outside the realm of possible that at first neither of us realized.

Faced with a rapidly expiring visitors visa , We decided to take the chance. We married. After many intense and often tearful conversations about how impossible our situation was we decided in my husband's words " The only thing that matters is Us" That was two years ago. Although I was far from a virgin we waited untill we were married at his insistance. By the time we had known each other three months we had been married eleven days. It has sometimes been hard, we are from different worlds. I am older than my mother in law who was far from pleased. And we have been happy, insanely impossibly happy. I love him so much it takes my breath away,he tells me daily that I am beautiful and treats me as though I am precious. No American man has ever treated me so well. So yes it is very very possible
