For your reply, yes they do indeed con and mistreat their own women as well...

I've been talking to an Egyptian Copt - who has incidentally been physically attacked by Egyptian Muslims - and he explained that these men see non-muslims... or even anyone outside of their community... as subhuman. I think they figure we're a bunch of heathens and undeserving of honesty and respect. And those around them serve to support these ideas.

The war in Syria? Our fault. Palestine? Our fault. Colonisation? Our fault. Apparently we're all responsible lol. Just like *all* muslims are terrorists.

So I think that's part of it. If and when you objectify something you in effect see it as a non sentient being. Almost like an animal, undeserving of humane treatment.

But as you said their own women suffer as well... they are respected as long as they are obedient - stay at home, rarely go out, don't speak up. Everything is conditional in these communities, therefore they don't grow up knowing how to love unconditionally. How beautiful it is to marry for love... and not money or status....

Still waiting for some gigolos to speak up... would love some input lol
