Malinda. I can relate to you so much. We are in similar situations so much,only mine is Egyptian. It has not been easy with all the differences ,plus I made the mistake of laying out some substantial sums of money originally to help him and family,but like you I love mine desperately.Its been 14 months since the orfi marriage and we have started the process with our lawyer for the civil,legal one.Whether we go the distance is anyone's guess.At this point in my life I am now trying to take it one day at a time,because you cannot ever really know for sure what is around the next corner,Happiness or Heartbreak,so I am now trying to enjoy my time with him,not easy sometimes with the male set of mind in Egypt,but other qualities make up for the tough times.

I wish you from the bottom of my heart the best of good fortune in your marriage as I do for mine.Good to hear your story.
