Dear Pretty Kitty,

It seems to be a very unhappy and unfortunate situation indeed.Are you not permitted to cook or he does not like what you cook?If it's the latter ,then why he is getting this lady to cook is understandable but not acceptable.He could have got accustomed to western style food by now or told her to teach you a few dishes of his choice.It's also not clear whether you are permitted to go out or use the phone.

In case,you need to get out( which I feel could be the best option,considering the tasks you have to manage),do not argue with him.Get in touch with the police who might have to be involved in case of separation or their social service branch which mainly deals with counseling.This way,the police will still be involved,just in case he turns violent.Why is your voice stifled? Why have you put up with this for 10 years?Aren't the neighbours aware that you are a virtual prisoner? Just as you have written here,you can figure out a way to write to the police.Act fast and stop suffering in silence without letting him know.I hope,he is not spying on your surfing habits.Delete your sent mails once they get sent.
