STL,you said it.Most of these women here fall for these guys because they have had some bad experiences with their own people.In this case,this man can keep 2 wives and might not divorce or leave Leslie at all.They can officially,if they can afford,marry 4 women and have innumerable concubines.

There is some false cultural excellence and exotica attached to the Muslim people.If you have read history,all that is known as the Islamic culture was never Arabic.It was Byzantine,Persian,Egyptian,partly Central Asian and Indian--and it existed there before Islam went there.

Many who advised her must have noticed the age difference but kept quiet out of politeness,although you were DIRECT and not rude--which was possibly required.There must be some loneliness and the thrill of being attractive to a younger man which drew her to this man.We can't blame her for that since our mind is perpetually young but the red flags were there.

Massive cultural differences should keep these ladies away from these people.Many Muslims profess being atheists ,Ex-Muslims,not-so-religious Muslims and so on.That's classic deception.Western ladies don't know this.You must have travelled to Europe and elsewhere where you MUST have noticed tattoos ( I have innumerable times) in Arabic prayers on western women's arms and backs.I do read Arabic to some extent since I tried to learn the same a long time ago.

It's always better to seek love within one's own clan where one knows the prospective partner ( one who has perfect credentials ) rather than pursue a fantasy.
