My own experience

I have dated younger Pakistani men. One lived in Italy who is 30. I have no doubt his emotions were sincere. It's common in Pakistan to discuss marriage because they for most part don't date and are expected and pressured to get married young and most want to marry young and have children. There was a lot of pressure to marry from him and my only complaint was pressure to have sex before I was ready. However, he was very kind and wanted to pay for everything and very sensitive. We are still good friends today after two years of knowing each other. The only issue I had was because I live in USA and he in Europe was before second trip he cheated which he admitted and was upset about but it made more sense because she lived there.

The other man I dated lived in Lahore and was in 20's and a journalist. I also have no doubt of his sincerity. He wanted marriage as well. I have know him for a few years and is a very good friend. He was always very respectful and kind and never discussed such things as sex. One of the most educated people I have met as we'll. The vast majority of people there wait until marriage before sex.

Every situation is different and depends on individual. I would be cautious regardless of where someone was from. However, the vast majority of Pakistanis I have met were very very kind and generous to me as a tourist. There are some depending on education and where they live that may have different expectations of what role a women plays. It depends on individual.

Regarding age difference men do often marry younger women or similar age. However, I was older in both cases and neither cared. One even mentioned the first wife of Mohammad in Koran who he loved the most and took no other wife until after she died was 20 years older. I'm in my 30s.

I would say be careful no matter who you date and meet and take your time but enjoy the process as well. Make sure it's not about visa or money. Best wishes!
