Thanks for sharing.

The first thing to note is that you are coming onto the internet asking if it is a good idea to marry a man. If you trusted him, Elyse, this would not be necessary. You need to ask yourself why it is necessary to ask us and why you decided for information about this on-line. You obviously don't trust him, and should not as you have no reason to.

The other thing is their relentless pursuit is well-documented and noted. It doesn't mean he cares about you so much as getting something out of the relationship selfishly (like a VISA).

It really doesn't matter how educated you are, Elyse. Having a degree won't help you navigate a scam like this or make any difference.
