You know better than anyone else

I have read a lot of threads, stories, and even 'fairy tails' about moroccan men from this website and felt that none deserved a reply because the people who have writen them -I'm not sure if the persons behind those stories were women or just jealous men- tried to generalize an image of the moroccan man based on their own experience.. But in your story I sensed a lot of objectivity, that's why I'd like to tell you my opinion and I hope that it would help you.
Your man sounds honest and I think that he really wants you, give him a chance if you truly have feelings for him. Many persons would tell you this and that just because their 'affair' didn't work.
In my opinion if you truly love him as a person it's you who would change the things he's doing that irritate you. There's men from all over the world who lie, cheat, abuse.. In the other hand there is loving, caring, honest men from all the cultures and continents too..
I am married to a European woman myself, we have almost the same age and still there is difficult times, we all make mistakes, but forgiving heals.
