Lina,

My wording could have been put a little differently, but I think you understand where I came from. One thing that opened my eyes is that before I even came to these forums and saw all of the horror stories, I already knew I would never want to even visit Egypt, let alone move there. That was just one thing I knew would not work. The others are the extreme cultural differences. Even after I began to develop feelings for the guy, I knew in my mind that he would drive me crazy. I am not to be "tamed" or to be controlled. Seriously, just ask my husband. Haha! I feel I would have ended up buying Mohamed a one way ticket back to Egypt anyways.

The rest was my realization that my marriage is not meant to be over. Even now, I feel that this experience was definitely a learning experience but just a bump in the road that I truly needed. I feel for the women who have fallen much more deep than I have.
