I'm leaving another comment about what I meant by saying some of us are naive. We're naive to a MENA man's mentality. If this had been a western man I was dealing with, I would have figured him out sooner. I have done this before by seeing them once or twice and wouldn't see them again . I would find out later I was right. Trust your instincts. We have them for reason. I have a neighbor who lives 2 doors down from me and she is a MENA woman married to a white European. She has helped me understand a lot and translated things for me from my messenger because I'm getting lots of Arabic messages. I'm not going to say where she or he is exactly from. She told me these MENA guys walk with their nose in the air without a job just because they know they are superior in their country because they are a male. She said one laughed in her face one day and said I can marry a Christian if I want but you can't. You have to marry a Muslim.

She said when she thinks of her marriage , happiness, career in the same field as her husband that she would love for him to see where she is now. I believe with all my heart she's in love with her husband and he feels the same about her. Her entire immediately family now live in Florida. They moved to where I live not long ago due to a better job offer for her husband. We met by going to the pool at the condos we live in because our keys wouldn't unlock the gate. She has read some on this forum and she said there was a lot truth to what was said about MENA men and she said in cases that she has known of the women would be like you. Not fat, rejected , broken family, are successful , no lack of dating skills. She said she has seen it happen to women in the west in their early 20's. I told her she's right because there's been women on here at that age who got done very wrong by a MENA man. She has been a big help to me in realizing a lot of what happen to me was because I didn't understand the mentality. That's why I used the word naive.

It wouldn't happen again unless it's by a real huge accident and I seriously doubt that. Not all people from that part of the world are bad but if you are having bad instinct feelings and you have to go to a third party for advice (which that's what this forum is for) then you're probably right in what you're feeling. Seriously think about it.
