I agree I would also like to just shake my friend, but know it would do no good at all. I have decided that all I can do is give her some of the warnings I have gotten here and hope she pays attention at least a little. From what little I know, the parents know about her??? wonder how much the Mother favors a marriage between her 34 yo son and a 60 yo woman? Unless the whole family is behind this effort. I don't know. She has promised to call me every week, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I also am going to counsel her strongly to make her own hotel reservations at a good hotel rather than let him make all the arrangements. Oh well. I feel that I've done all I can to warn her, to no avail so I'll take her to the airport, hug her goodbye and be there to pick her up.

Thanks so much, all the ladies on this site have been so helpful. I'll keep watch on here and will post the results of this trip.
