It's a guy thing

Willow, what you have here is your typical jerky guy that wants to have his cake and eat it, and why not throw in a few mind games as well. He's essentially been playing with your head and you've indulged him - but most of us have done the same at some point in time and I know how easy it is to do so, especially when the guy is hot lol.

So yes this kind of behaviour is not really limited to MENA men but with them it's usually a lot worse cause you have religion and other cultural faux pas in the mix. I used to suggest women limit contact with these guys to NSA only, but as we all know it's never as simple as that and someone always gets attached - usually the female.
