Thank you for posting your story. I want to say I'm sorry for your broken heart. One of the ladies here mentioned do they get handbooks on "how to". If you notice many sound alike. It's fine to want someone to be healthy but he insulted you and hurt you. He should have loved you for you. I was married to an Egyptian for 2 1/2 years. Actually longer but we split after 2 1/2 years of our marriage. I was pregnant the entire time we were together. You're emotional during pregnancy and I cried all the time. He was a terrible husband now a terrible father. He does not have contact with his children and this is rare with a Muslim man. He got his green card to the US and he travels between here and Egypt but never wants to see his children . I'm fine with it because I'm afraid he will take them to Egypt and I won't see them again. I changed my location but I live in the US. I have met an awesome American man and he loves my children. It's not uncommon for them to have several Facebook accounts , Skype and so on. They can delete them then create new ones you don't know about. I don't understand the concept of their definition of love. I was devastated all the time and wanted to sleep because it took me away from my physical pain. My husband was not faithful. I'm an educated woman but was not working during the time we were married and together.

I was fortunate to have parents to help me and my children financially. I'm not trying to stereotype but for us as foreign women it's very difficult to find one who will not treat us as you, myself and others on here have described. I think you can do much better. You sound like a good caring person. There's a man who will treat as you deserve. Don't settle for this. I think you have a good head on your shoulders and you see it's not going to be any other way with him. It takes time to feel better but you will. When there's hope there's new life. That's why I used this user name.
