So sorry about what You are going through at the moment. Don't know what to say. Are You sure his mother is really sick? Many rats lie about a sick parent in order to get away without scandals and to get some cash out of the unsuspecting partner. Yes, We have a saying "Blood is thicker than water", but still. Rats use family as an excuse. Of course the are tons of unemployed relatives to look after his sick mom and labour is dirt cheap there. 25 gran will get him quite a lot in Egypt. He is just a rat. I would try to revoke his visa if I was You. Try to get out more and move! Run, go dancing and use Your energy! You'll soon feel better and meet new people.

This Egyptian man is not worth loving, sorry for the harsh words. You seem such a nice and well spoken person, it's a shame! I'm sure You will soon find someone else who will be at least normal. And yes, Egyptians are special in the worst way possible. Good luck!
