Nora's case: Forget about recovering money???

I had the same thoughts, Cynthia. The rat had not even a bank account when we met. Never worked. Even if I seeked legal advice, there is no way he can pay me back the full amount.

We are still in contact because he is still paying me back peanuts which I know he will stop in a couple of weeks.

The question right now is: Is it worth the mental strain to get back the mere percentage of what is owed? I can hardly go through a day. I wake up and go to bed with the same agonizing thoughts. HOW CAN SOMEONE YOU HELPED WITH A PURE HEART - TO HELP HIM BUILD AN EXISTENCE - BE THIS UNGRATEFUL??? That is the most bitter part. The part that is most difficult to digest.

I hope to live the day to see what Karma will serve him. Sorry if I'm sounding so wicked. I'm so hurt and disappointed and SO mad at myself for being so naive and stupid!
