Dear Nora,

I feel very sad and happy simultaneously since you suffered immensely( including one attempted murder) and yet you are alive.I can quite understand how you feel though I have not undergone this and am surprised that you are still managing to remain sane.

Rest assured that you did nothing wrong.Falling in love with even a wrong person is not a grave error.How would you have known he is beyond repair?Have you got officially divorced now? Whether or not you have,get police help since I feel he might get back--especially if he gets into trouble.He or his friends might try to extort money claiming that this is the last time.Don't fall for this and if the police are willing to help you,you should be safe.Frustration and disappointment will drive him to commit even murder.Hence,the police help.He knows that you are kind and have been helping him out all the while.Even if he is in a new relationship,all women will not be willing to help him.You were almost like a mother--giving,forgiving all the time.

Check everywhere in the house if he has left anything contraband in the house in some nook and corner.Get police to sort out,if you do find out.If he communicates with you,do not argue .In fact,you will do better by changing your contact details and even residence( if that is possible) so he won't be able to trace you.AND don't contact him at all.

You were fortunate you didn't catch any STD considering his tryst with a prostitute(?) It's better you don't trust him or his friends.His working continuously is a real suspicious issue.He was married to you.He didn't care for you ,while remaining out and confining you to the house.Once you slept in the car.This was just horrible.

I wish I was in the U.S. to help you but get in touch with someone who can help you get back to your life.Do you have any family? Confide in them,secure yourself.I don't think he will be invisible for long.
