Good afternoon Nadia and fellow readers,
I wish I would've known about the Algerian wines as I would have brought some home with me !!!
I did see lots and lots of empty beer bottles and cans at the roadside outside the compound of my husbands' family home. They seemed to like the beer Heineken !! I wished I could've joined those jolly beer drinkers !! LOL LOL LOL especially on those super hot August nights.
My friends back here in Canada would text me at night and tease me and say "no beers in Algers "!

Although my husband was a liar and cheat...I am grateful for the opportunity of experiencing this culture and the people. My eyes saw beautiful mountains and the breath taking Mediterrian Sea.
I am also grateful for my life here in Canada.
I also had the experience of celebrating the first week of Ramadan last year and the celebrationj of Eid Murback twice. I even helped skin the sheep and have fantastic pictures. For this I have no regrets.

The relationships that I developed with my husbands sisters is also a treasured memory. We shared many things with each other and also learned from each other. And for this I also have no regrets.

I am ever so thankful that i have a dishwasher and washing machine here at home !!
