It's easy to get completely wrapped up in them

Don't punish yourself for your mistakes. All of us on here have made them. He can't make you marry him and don't marry him. You are 22 years old. Don't destroy your real young years with a man that a good life will not come from. They tend to pick the ones with insecurities. None of us like to admit to it but it's true. I know you have probably read stories here because I did especially as a new comer. My marriage was bad but it could have been a lot worse. He chose to leave me after the green card came. I wasted my 20's with him and we produce 2 children. They are my world. I've also now met a great guy. My divorce has been over for a while. I won't waste my 30's. I have a chance with someone who loves me and we come from the same cultural background. My family and some close friends were a big help to me.\

I'm thankful for them all and this forum is great for help. I didn't find it until I had basically already gone through most of my suffering. It still gives support in knowing I'm not alone in what happen to me. I hope you can find your inner strength and drop him before he does you. Come here as much as you need. Building a strong self esteem will help you also. I think Marissa on here is s good example of that because I believe her when she says she's not hurt but in fact mad about getting involved with such a person. I believe her because I have a friend she reminds me of because she can drop someone like a hot potato and walk away. I've seen her do it. I'll be thinking of you.
