Dear Anne,

It has been just 4 weeks.It's very difficult to confirm or otherwise that he has ditched you.Let's wait and watch.We can't be sure,on the other hand,that he is interested in continuing with you.A lot might be happening in his life in terms of options being considered and choices made.I don't wish to be either too fair or unfair to any person but it's always tricky marrying someone from a totally different cultural background.Will you be fine with conversion?Will you be fine with your children who will grow up Muslims?Do you know that a marriage performed in a mosque is not valid in the U.K.and you are not eligible for any alimony should the alliance break down?

A book,which I too have read,that is mentioned on this blog is Stepping Into The Shadows by Rosemarie Sookhdeo who is in East London.Please read before he gets in touch with you and be forewarned and armed with the information provided therein.

Even if gets back to you there is no way to know if he is sincere or has been ditched elsewhere or something else has happened.

Why not get someone from your community instead?Rush to buy the book.
