You are sending him a clear signal about taking in all of this special treatment that there is still hope for the both of you, yet you are told him "just friends".

As a guy, I have to tell you I find it very insensitive and immature that you are allowing yourself to be pampered by him and building his hopes up like this. On the one hand you say you're stuck with him in an obligatory class, but on the other it sounds like you choose to receive essentially gifts from him and spend time outside of class of your own free will?

If he were on here asking for advice, I'd tell him to stay away, just as I told you after the yelling and screaming.

I think you are right----I don't think either of your is ready for a serious relationship. It seems like you both agree that you need to work on things personally.

What you are doing right now is tainting things.
