The ring was just a ploy to win you back. A lot of times they'll come back weeks or months later begging for forgiveness like a puppy. If you say no, they may fake outrage to get you to throw up your hands and give in.

Some of these folks all over the place who do on-line dating for whatever reason LOVE drama and will use it to get what they want.

Don't be a part of such nonsense.
