Hi Amy, I'm sorry you're having a real tough time with your pain. Yes this common for them to not want any male friends on your Facebook or associating with males. They don't want your photo seen either. It's cultural Amy. they don't mix with the opposite gender and are very jealous. Muslim woman cover themselves and only her husband will see her in private. They wear a hijab or scarf. Mine was going to make me wear a scarf and I said no I haven't converted and we're not married. Cultural differences can cause problems too hun. I don't think this guy was any good. In time your pain will get better and you will meet someone else. Give it time and you will heal from this. Don't allow him to ruin your Christmas either. This is a happy celebrating time of year. It's my favorite time of the year . Be happy and you sound like a beautiful person with a good heart. God has a plan for us all. Give God time and he will send you a good man. You're in my thoughts and prayers . Post on here as much as you need because I know some girls have been through so much they have been suicidal and actually went through with it. I know family and friends sometimes may not be the biggest supporters in a situation like this because it's like an illusion.
