What to do: Older American woman, Moroccan Man, marriage scam

Hi Kristine:

Obviously, this is a scam. And you're right to be worried, because there's no use for her to be around him once she gets there if he can't get into the USA. You may even want to find out if she would even be welcome at his place once he realizes she can't get him into the USA. These "extended family" members of his are probably his wife and kids.

Also, don't sign the affidavit affirming this. It could potentially get you into legal trouble is something happens to her and you knew this was a bad idea but went along with it. I'm not sure what the exact situation here is, but he may only be tolerating her now because he's hoping he can in through you.

One of the other things you should do is refer her to this blog. If she's so sure, then coming on here shouldn't be a problem for her at all.
