From the sounds of it, so far so good. He hasn't said he loved you and a casual dinner amongst your friends in Marrakech sounds like a fun time for you to get to know each other in person. I do see the downside in meeting up, especially since you would not be alone.

Explanation for fasting: it is Ramadan right now. I would also refrain from making assumptions that he is not a practicing Muslim. Just because he does not pray 5 times a day does not mean he does not respect, partake and believe in his religion.

If things do get serious, it is very common for Moroccans to propose marriage quickly because dating is not part of their culture. If he respects you and wants to further pursue the relationship, he will introduce you to his family. If he moves to Belgium on his own, great. You know he has the capability to sustain himself in a Western country.

At this point, I don't think there are any red flags. Enjoy your trip to Morocco! Even if it doesn't work out, Morocco is a beautiful country with amazing, kind people.
