Mel you described the typical Arab perfectly

Hi Mel, thanks for sharing your story and I'm very sorry for what you endured for nine months because I know what they can do to you. Yes there's good and bad everywhere as was stated on here by someone and another person stated western women should accept some of the blame also. I don't agree with this statement as I'm sure you know all too well they can brainwash you like Not Sure posted on here. I have been brainwashed by one before. I know the verbal abuse, the threats, the lies. If his family didn't like you because you are black then that's a problem within themselves. If he chose to agree with them he showed his true colors. I'm happy to know he is gone from your life and I feel as you do I would never have anything to do with another Arab. They come from a different way of life than what westerners are accustomed to. They will run guilt trips on you to try to get their way and this includes trying to get money. I'm not giving any man money unless he's my husband.

My guy did the biggest guilt trip on me but I realized what he was doing when I pulled myself together. They treat their women horrible. I heard one Arab woman say she hated her husband and another say she only loved her husband because he was the father of her children. We have abusive men in America so we can get that right here without looking at a hot tempered foreigner just because he looks hot and sexy. Looks are not everything. Someone can be gorgeous on the outside but be ugly on the inside and as my grandmother says that ugliness goes all the way to the bone. I really recommend any western woman to be Interested in men in her country. You have lots more in common and have a better chance at having a successful relationship or marriage. A lot of Arabs are not true Muslims. Mine wasn't . He was awful.

Women have to do as they are told by her husband in their culture if she refuses she will pay dearly. I'm glad you shared your story on here because there's still more and more women being sweeped into these love traps of deception. God bless you for getting out of this situation and I wish there was a way to get the word out more about these men because a stop needs to be put to them. They are brainwashers. Abused women also sometimes don't know how to get out of an abusuve relationship because they are battered.

The age difference I didn't deal with but I know these men do the same to the older women and like I read on here they are also trying to use the younger western women too. They are young and many are naive and sucked in by the sweet talk, good looking dark features. It's not worth it. Stay alone like you said before living a life of pure hell!
