Wow, your story sounds so similar to mine in a so many ways. I will say mine really treated me sweet the whole five years we were together, no physical abuse, no obvious sociopathy, no financial exploitation, acted affectionate, caring and remarkably patient..until I discovered lies,lies, on top of lies with a sprinkling of lies rolled in flaky layers of lies..lies ala mode. I clearly did not know the type of person he really was. In the end, all I have left from him is a few bittersweet memories,a whole heap of heartache and...oh yeah, high-risk HPV.

Indeed, please do exercise an abundance of caution.
