I think your friends are right

Hi Cecilia, I love your name. This has always been one of me favorite names for a girl. You sound young and I ask you to listen to me. I'm a little older than you and I've dealt with a Muslim Arab man. In their culture don't see things as we do. A lot of them are not true Muslims. If you are seeing his chat light off in messenger on Facebook . He's most likely talking to someone and does not want you to know. Why else would he turn it off and I'm like you I say he's lying when he says its Facebook. It's not Facebook every time the light is off.

Since you have told him you have noticed this chances are he will create another account that you will know nothing about. If he doesn't have one already. Cut your losses of this online relationship and be done is my advice. You're young and you will find a good guy in the US. There are good men in this country. This is what you need. I wish you the best in your decision but I'm willing to bet my month's salary from work that I'm right like your friends told you. Come here and rant and as much as you need. Read the stories on here and educate yourself on how majority are who are of Arab ethnicity.
