I, as many other women, have experienced this here and have seen a large amount of other women experience this here in america. American men do the same thing. Broke american men do the EXACT same thing. Nothing different. The only thing that was not american about this is the name of the country. That is all. To put all in or alert that easily many Moroccan men fit in this category as if american white and black men don't do this is hypocritical and offensive. This story did not sound brand new. To me it sounds like she made a wrong choice. A bad decision to get and stay with a man she knew was not well off in the beginning. They have those same issues here in usa. Her story sounds like a typical american woman's story after she has met some broke man who says he loves her and wants to marry her and she fell for it. Ladies honestly? Be truthful? She said she glad she read about how Moroccan men are and what to expect. How many of these same stories apply to a large portion of the american men? Many. Just a different race. I can pull up a major amount of these same happenings in america with one click. Just like many american men are not that way and shouldn't be looked at like they are evil aliens up to know good, its the same for Moroccan men. Ghettos and trailer parks. Same as the Morocan villages she described. State of minds are similar. So write me something about an american outsider that I have never known before that will make me actually afraid. This literally hit home. You got snigged in Morocco the way you get snigged here in america. That label doesn't only or mostly portray Moroccan men. This is identified as being a story about 'a man'. Not a 'Moroccan man'. You should have named this story: Men Are The Same Everywhere
