I need help

Hi everyone

I was surfing the internet when I came across this website. I read all the horror stories and what people have gone through and it's sad but it also makes me wonder. I met an Egyptian man on Facebook almost a year ago. He sent me a friend request when he he saw a comment I had posted on a page he and I both liked. We started off talking casually, he was nice and respectful and then over the months he told me he had feelings for me and they were progressing, I felt the same way. He then went off into the Army and we had contact.

He wants to come to America and meet my family and then he wants me to go to Egypt to do the same. He never asks for money, or anything like that. When I was robbed he said he wanted to give me money but I declined. We do talk about marriage and he wants to live in Egypt. I read these comments and I just want to see if anyone has any advice? I really love and care for him and I want to be with him but I want to make sure that he is not going to scam or hurt me.
