Be responsible for your own life

I met and started a relationship with a younger Moroccan man about six months ago and found this site as I was determined to do some research and not walk into it blind. You terrified me and I nearly finished with this beautiful, kind, attractive man and stayed single with the only hope of meeting a boring, bald, fat British man on the internet basically full of more rubbish and tottally non commital. This guy gave me everything - love, fun, attention and made me feel special.

But yes I still remained suspicious so I did my homework. I read on the internet that a Muslim man cannot ask the woman for money so I was prepared, I read that the Quoran actually offers more equality to the woman than the bible so I don't have a problem out there. Yes there are some male dominated areas but welcome to Britain too. I have set up a business with my partner because I knew it would be the only way we would be able to stay together mainly because I was not going to keep spending money to go over there or stay in back street apartments. And he has proved himself by getting half the money and I have set it up as British based so I am in control.

Yes these people have dreams and we can offer the answers but we have dreams of love too and if you give it time and build up the trust you can work out what they want. He didn't want to leave his country or village but now he is changed and wants to travel and hopes we can do it together but we have a future whether short or long term. Nobody knows but my money stays in my bank and the business is set up securely. I think it is good for you to be open about the relationships with Moroccan men but they are individual like any other country. They don't all want anal sex like it seems to be highlighting on here. Be a strong woman if you take on these guys - that is what attracts them - many ladies they meet are not educated or opinionated like us and they find that attractive. But be yourself and if you don't like something stand up to them - I do! I believe God whether Allah or the Christian God or the universe bought us together as it was so incredible BUT I am now responsible for this relationship from taking care of myself and I have friends I talk to about it and they see things as an outsider without the emotions and are always there to make sure I am ok. Don't hide it - if in doubt talk to someone.

Great advice was put on here by a lady about red flags and every time I thought there could have been something dodgy I wrote it down as a red flag and kept it and researched it but more importantly dealt with it. If you are not sure if they want you for money - tell them you have none and you are on a sponsored trip. Sadly many western ladies are vulnerable because Britain is short of decent available men in my opinion so let us ladies be here for them if they are unsure. Can we set up one for Welsh men too as in my ex husband!
