yes they are both young, she is twenty four and he is twenty five. He seems to be genuine but he never ever allowed her to be involved with his family as long as they were here, thank God they left and went back to Iraq last month. but , my concern is yes, he said he would get baptized in the church and get married outside by the justice of the peace but do a Greek ceremony by this priest/justice of the peice, he is both the one that will perform the wedding supposedly. also i heard her say that he told her that in the ceremony he was going to give the jop some quotes from the old testement to quote , ummmmm that is old testament, like in what the Muslims believe only ,r ight. so when i said i was going to have our church's priest there reciting some of our wedding prayers and I said he and she in the eyes of Jesus and God will be united with the crowns , that the orthodox tradition so uses in thier wedding ceremonies and that the wedding blessing according to Jesus and the wedding at =Cana will be recited and the normal prayers that we say in our ceremonies when God joins two together in the eyes of Jesus also ... he didnt seem to say no to that, so I guess he is ok. I really dont know, for sure, but we sat him down yesterday my husband and me and he swore he loves her and that he will always take care of her and etc etc. and i said but one thing, If you hurt her or if you have a child and you think you can take it to your country without my daughter present, you will have to deal with me and my husband and i will make sure that if you demand anything from her she doesnt want to do or give you, we will take her back home with her child and we will help her fight her divorse, as she also has told me that if it ever comes to this event which she hopes it never does. and feels confident now it wont, but , hey, things do change, we that are married for over fourty years know this, right?

anyway i told him and she says she will come home for good then. so i guess they have talked about just how religious she is and that she will NEVER renounce Jesus for anyone or any other religion ever. So i believe in her and what i taught her... she says that if he is joking as far as the marriage thing that he doesnt want to believe but is doing it all to please us, well, again, i dont care, cause , like you, i say, that if he is playing God, or his Allah, he will pay for his stupidity.... but in that instance i dont want my daughter to have to pay for any stupid thing that this guy will do and drag her with him. That is why i keep telling her open your eyes. open your eyes, you dont know your own worth...why resort to him?

anyway i know and feel confident that she wont ever ever ever, and i know this, turn her head on Christianity, orthodox religious belief, i and the church have taught her.... Teach a child in the way that it should go and when he departs from the faith, God does alow them to come back to the ways that they knew were the basis and goodness of thier rearing. eventually it always happens. they see their mistakes and always come back to how they were taught in the eyes of the church, bible , God /Jesus, and parents and love available !!
