Are your parents in the loop about this suitor ?? As a Muslim yourself you know the rules right? What does your father think of this guy? Has your dad assessed his suitability ie ability to support you etc? What does he do for a livng? has marriage contract and conditions been discussed.. Has he approached you as he would a Morroccan woman? Have u discussed mahr? where will you live.. does he have an apartment?

Have you researched the laws of the land and your "freedom to travel", "nationality of kids" ability to travel with kids etc. Can he come to the Uk to spend time here with you and your parents? Words are nothing.. How has he proven he is not interested in a visa..He cud say he wants to live in morrocco,but after marriage he cud put pressure on to move to the UK.. i know to have a period of dating is haram.. but cant he engage you so that you can spend a decent amount of time with this man to get to know him.. This is the ordinary direction of things in middle eastern countries.. they have a period of engagement to ascertain their suitability to get married. You have not spent enough time with him to make the choice to marry him..

As a muslim lady, regardless of the legal aspect of things, Your only option to get out is khula if you end up unhappy and you want to divorce.. Have you got money saved and hidden in case he decides to divorce you ?? More preparation is needed and i feel you need to get your parents advice on this. You havent mentioned their feelings on all of this..

You get your tourist visa and let him sort out the more permanent status after you arrive in Morrocco.. all this stuff will be his responsibility and his problem !! he is supposed to look after you as his wife so let him deal with the paperwork..

Its a mistake to rush into this .. consult your family please. Your life could be turned upside down in a heartbeat.. you have not made adequate preparations.
