Dear Dr Pipes, this discussion on how best to marry a guy from Morocco, Egypt etc. sounds contrived to me. Yes, you can take a million precautions so that guy cannot bring more wives after you, is not doing it for a visa, does not take your money after the marriage. That is all well and good but, then, what is the urgency of marrying such a guy after a romance on the Internet. For heaven's sake, why marry into a culture where every rule of conduct is unsymmetric (and thus unfair)?
