I agree with everything you say!

Hello and thankyou for your post, i have to say, that i read it without blinking, as it was heartstoppingly acurate!! 5 years i have spent with a egyptian man, from start to finish i can relate to all that you say, apart from i wasnt beaten, because i never lived with him. But the mental torture has been agonising!! Yes i have only myself to blame, as i saw the signs, i knew what was happening, i felt the control he had on me, but he got inside my head, i felt i was possesed? As for the LOVE word, you are right, its not love as we know, they cannot love, its a fact, and one that i will always insist on!! The honour and shame you talked about, i wasnt able to put into words, but you explained it perfectly, they have NO concience or feel any guilt, i just could not understand his lack of understanding for my feelings, and all the wrongs he did to make me feel like nothing, and the total disrespect for all i did for him?

And as you say, the constant hearing of sacrifices that he made for me? He was married after years of telling me he was single, when i would confront him about his lies, he would continue lying after saying sorry? He was impossible, imature spoilt, childish, manipulating, a pathological liar/ sociopath. But charming as hell, and he wont go away???
