Marya, thanks for sharing. I'm very touched by your story. It's really sad that you have been through all of this. You have lost people you loved and at that difficult time that man used your emotional state to manipulate you. I can only imagine how hard it was for you. I think there is no excuse for that Turkish man to do things like that. Maybe he had feelings for you and in his culture he may be seen as normal but for western culture he is nothing more than a sociopath. I really hope that you will be ok.

I agree with many people who wrote on this forum that if you have bad and disrespectful relationship with man, if you feel depressed and not satisfied, that's better to quit. And it doesn't matter if this man Christian, Muslim or comes from any other religion and culture, there is no excuse for him if he doesn't respect you as a person.

And, yes when it comes to Muslims for me even good fling doesn't worth dealing with them. I know some girls who can handle them, but I can get "charmed" easily, so I will stay away.
