Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: muslim husband marrying second time

In the Q'ran it states that he must ask the permission of the current wife ( or wives) if he can marry again. If he says it was a joke and he has not married then he is thinking about it. I don't know your situation so can't advise where you can check up on him and his marital status.
