Hello Fatimah

I'm trying to follow what you are saying, and it sounds like you are now in a polygamous marriage.

It also says that you are posting from Japan. Is polygamy even legal where you live?

Either way, I think you need to report this man and get out of this relationship. If he's willingly to marry someone else while married to you without your consent, well, he obviously doesn't care much for how you feel.

And I don't if it's a joke or not, so you need to look into it thoroughly. Sometimes, I think men will joke about stuff like that to test the waters to see what they can get away with.

Being married to a man in a polygamous marriage in a situation like this could mean that you are the one who takes care of the kids, does all the chores and is never allowed to leave the house, especially if the other wife(ves) are culturally similar to him in some way.

There really is not much good that I see from this situation.
