Iraqi Man

I have met an Egyptian man online, and he says the same thing to me. First he wanted to make sure that I was his true love, and then now that he has decided that I am, he tells me he cant live with out me. Tonight we discussed me flying to him in Saudi Arabia. He said it was the safest country, and that men look after women there. The things tho that started making sense to me was when he told me he bought a flat, a house. And it is empty. He said it is waiting to be filled. He told me that he would decorate it with me. But I would be living in the house, I am not allowed to drive or travel on my own. Women can not own cars there. I said I would get bored if I had to stay in a house all day long everyday. And he said you would be doing all the work. I said to him I am not the best house cleaner and what if he didnt like how I cleaned.

Now I have read that saudi men beat their wives and I asked him that. And he wouldnt answer and said we would talk on that further. But what I have read it is considered that women are nothing in a man's eyes. And if he chooses to beat you he can. It is not illegal there. Also your daughter would be raised a muslim, and they also beat children there. The reason I have heard women dont remarry after their husband dies is that men dont want a widow. And women are expected to have their sons take care of them. You would be considered a wife, but you would also be considered like a servant, since you were not born a muslim, even if you are converted. And once married you are always a muslim and anyone that denies their religion then is condemned to death. That is what I read.

Just think of eating after everyone else eats because you are not Iraqi born of Islam. Or sleeping on the floor. And did he also tell you that muslim men can have 4 wives at the same time. He would deny all of this. Saying he would love you always. But the thing is you have doubts. And do you want to be a kept wife? Not allowed to leave the house? Unless accompanied by your husband? You will give up all your freedom. And even if you think you have very little now. You will have none then. And women are not allowed to go out with out those long black robes. Research these things if you are still in doubt. Be Aware of what you will give up!
